Your responsibilities
- Responsible for the development of chemical and electrochemical processes
- Interface with operations and engineering on lithium production
- Responsible for design, construction, operation and chemical analysis of prototype devices
- Advising engineering and operations on chemistry related, process issues
- Maintain complete documentation of various project activities
- Managing a team of junior scientist and technicians
Your profile
- Education in Chemistry, Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Vast expertise in chemistry and process unit operations
- Knowledge of process scale up from the lab to the pilot plant (industrial experience in a metal extraction company)
- Profound knowledge of precipitation, filtration, ion exchange and electrowinning
- Significant experience in related laboratory equipement and analytical protocols
- Excellent communication skills in English and German (written, verbal, interpersonal)
