My duties
  • Responsible for the development of chemical and electrochemical processes 
  • Interface with operations and engineering on lithium production
  • Responsible for design, construction, operation and chemical analysis of prototype devices
  • Advising engineering and operations on chemistry related, process issues
  • Maintain complete documentation of various project activities
  • Managing a team of junior scientist and technicians
My qualifications
  • Education in Chemistry, Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
  • Vast expertise in chemistry and process unit operations
  • Knowledge of process scale up from the lab to the pilot plant (industrial experience in a metal extraction company)
  • Profound knowledge of precipitation, filtration, ion exchange and electrowinning
  • Significant experience in related laboratory equipement and analytical protocols
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (written, verbal, interpersonal)
