My contact persons
in the public sector
If you would like to speak to me about your particular needs, please feel free to get in touch with me.
I have worked in personnel services since 1999. After various assignments at Hays' head office in Mannheim, Germany, I opened the Berlin office in 2005. Since 2010, I have had nationwide responsibility for the newly founded Public Services division where we focus on public-sector clients within IT contracting. My involvement in the Public Sector is further strengthened by my voluntary work as an advisory board member of the German Public Sector Network, as a member of the Berlin Chamber of Regional Procurement and as an honorary commercial judge at the District Court of Berlin.
Since 2013, I have also been responsible for our public affairs activities and office in Berlin. In this capacity I am the primary point of contact for political policy and professional associations. With regard to my associations work, I am the founder and chairman of the Allianz für selbständige Wissensarbeit e.V. (Alliance for Independent Knowledge Work). Here I personally advocate for greater political clarity regarding independent employment so that both clients and contractors have a greater degree of legal certainty.
Since 2017, I have also been responsible for Hays Compliant Sourcing, a consulting unit that deals with the legally compliant deployment of external personnel across all types of contracts. As part of an international strategy team, I have also been advising Hays offices around the world for several years on external personnel deployment, focusing on contracting / freelancing.
After completing my studies in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim and the EDHEC Business School in Nice (with a degree in Business Administration), I started my career at Hays in Key Account Management Contracting initially in IT and then later in Finance.
In September 2007, I moved to IBM Germany where I worked as a Key Account Manager in their banking sector, ultimately managing a major German bank.
In spring 2011 I returned to Hays. After working as head of the Temp IT business and as regional manager for Hays Scandinavia (Denmark and Sweden), I have been responsible for the IT Contracting Public Services division since September 2018.
I have been working as a key account manager, team leader and department manager for more than nine years now, providing both operational and strategic support to renowned customers from the public sector. Among my customers I include municipal data centres, banks, federal, state and local authorities.
Hays AG has established a business division dedicated exclusively to fulfilling the needs of public-sector companies. As Germany's leading supplier of expert IT resources and the market's leading knowledge bank, we support a wide range of public-sector customers. In doing this, our focus is on optimisation and further development.
Whether acting at the highest operational levels or in a strategic and advisory capacity, Hays is always a reliable partner when our customers need the right personnel. We provide the most appropriate experts for special projects/areas, for bridging vacancies during staff shortages or during intense periods of project activity.
After completing my degree in Business Studies at the Fontys Hogeschool Venlo, The Netherlands, I began my career with Daimler-Chrysler Sales Organisation Germany (DCVD) in 2001.
At the end of 2003, my career took me to Hays, where until March 2013 I held the positions of Account Manager, Key Account Manager and Team Leader.
In these roles I was responsible for supporting numerous private sector customers in Mannheim, Berlin and Hamburg with their IT and engineering needs. Since April 2013, I have been the head of IT Public Services with regional teams in Hamburg, Hannover, Cologne and Düsseldorf looking after public sector clients in the German Federal States of Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia.
After completing my psychology studies, I joined Hays as a Public Services Account Manager in Munich in 2012.
Since that time, I have been the contact person for representatives of the various state ministries and offices, municipal institutions, church organisations, foundations, associations and many other public sector organisations in southern Germany regarding IT projects/IT contracting/IT freelancers.
As a team leader, I work closely together with my colleagues, who specialise in recruiting and procurement law, to seek out the most appropriate IT experts for you. We cover areas such as network/infrastructure, development and IT security/IT forensics, but are also equipped to deal with specialist areas of specific importance to public sector authorities.
