My duties
  • Introduction/Purpose:
  • Proactively seek information on the immunology environment and emerging competitive landscape (From multiple internal/external sources including customer networking, congresses & commissioned work / Primary focus is to support the launch of emapalumab contributing to launch excellence)
  • Support the development and communication of the understanding of trends in treatment and product use in conditions where emapalumab is indicated or expected to be indicated in the future (CLD, cITP and CIT)
  • Participate in the collaboration with Immunology affiliate team to gather all aspects of market data and intelligence available to ensure the development of an informed global commercialization strategy
  • Participate in assigned project groups and work in support of the global business plans
  • Responsible for managing allocated budget to meet target expenditure in line with strategic business plans
  • Ensure ongoing completion of all required initial and ongoing training in local regulations and policies, and adherence to those regulations and policies
  • Reporting to the VP Commercial Operations, Immunology and Rare Diseases
  • Major/Key Responsibilities: 
  • Day-to-day management of projects and interaction with vendors (incl. planning and approvals) to ensure delivering results on time and within budget 
  • Provide in country support to gather and analyse competitor use and emapalumab use post launches and aggregate local market data in terms of (patient) population data as well as sales data to EMENAR level
  • Spend 20% of work time in the field (supporting business activities), gathering competitive and market based information, interacting with key customers where appropriate to continually evolve the view of the landscape
  • Keep reference market data up-to-date for cross-functional use
  • Share competitor information from congresses and captured in the field (incl. up-dates to competitor development time lines and other materials where relevant)
  • Support assigned HQ project groups and support the overall Comapany´s Global business plans
  • Ensure ongoing completion of all required initial and ongoing training in local regulations and policies, and adherence to those regulations and policies
My qualifications
  • University degree level education – business with focus on marketing and research 
  • Post graduate marketing qualification (Desired)
  • Market analytics and decision support role or equivalent for a minimum of 3 years
  • Recent experience in a highly competitive therapy area, preferably rare diseases within Immunology
  • Experience in commissioning market research or marketing projects to external vendors
  • Pharmaceutical marketing/sales experience for a minimum of 3 years (Desired)
  • Experience of pre-launch and launch activities and markets (Desired)
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Networking and opinion leader relationship development engagement
  • Report writing and presentation of analysis and strategic marketing recommendations
  • Effective communication and team working skills
  • Project management and leadership experience, delivering results on time and within budget
  • Flexibility, ability to manage change and operate in an environment of uncertainty
  • Demonstrable customer relationship management experience
  • Knowledge of international health systems, regulatory systems and decision-making processes (Desired) 
  • Demonstration of the company´s values
  • Cross cultural working appreciation and experience (Desired)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (Fluency in additional languages - Desired)
