Meine Aufgaben
  • Responsible for the strategic and operational management and control of Purchasing for my client with an annual external spend of several million euros. Driving proactively the Sourcing and Procurement processes and thus ensuring the timely and high-quality supply of goods and services
  • Plan and accompany the entire Sourcing and Procurement process (including bidding) from the initial demand and requisition from the business side to the completion of the final contracts for signing in close alignment with Legal
  • Responsible for all commercial aspects in contract negotiations in close cooperation with the Legal department. This includes: o Drive contract negotiation of terms and conditions with objective of securing the best possible value for the company o Review options of payment and other conditions favourable to the companyo Efficiently manage and drive the contract establishment process 
  • Main contact person for all Purchasing matters on the part of the internal stakeholders and (preferred) Suppliers 
  • Coordinate the internal demand by department and project, also considering supply options: in-house / external, lease / buy, company logistics
  • Operational and strategic Supplier Management through periodical supplier review meetings / supplier bid defence meetings, supplier qualification and selection and risk management
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external laws and practises
  • Actively promote the Corporate Purchasing policy and adherence to it by the organisation through regular trainings and information sessions
  • Drive continuous improvement in the Sourcing and Procurement processes
  • In charge of regular KPI Reporting to stakeholders including supplier performance evaluations, external spend analysis and internal service level measurement
Meine Qualifikationen
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar
  • At least 10+ years’ professional experience in a Procurement leadership role 
  • Proven track record in managing price and contract negotiations and providing best value to the organization
  • Strong business partnering skills across departments, projects and hierarchy levels with a feel for customer needs and expectations
  • Proficient knowledge of SAP and MS Office, experience with catalogue systems a benefit
  • Intercultural competence and excellent communication and analytical skills  
  • Flexible, open to change, performs very well under pressure and highly motivated
  • Strong and confident approach, convincing manner and above-average presentation skills 
  • Fluency in English is a given
