Integration Engineer (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities
- Development Engineer In-Vehicle Infotainment & Connectivity (IVI-C) Systems for functional and system definition for the infotainment domain (CAN, SOA), media- and connectivity functions
- Creation of function concepts as well as complex function and (sub-)system specification, in close cooperation with the functional experts
- Global alignment and agreement of function- and interface / protocol definition focussing on robustness, efficiency / re-use, compatibility, cost
- Engineering and integration of new features / functions / technologies from concept to production, and OPD and TVM projects
- Cooperation with software departments (intern, extern) for the implementation / introduction of new IVI-C features / functions
- Release of subsystem function-specifications (SPSS)
- Responsible for design verification process (DVP) as preparation of the subsystem release
- Support verification and validation of distributed IVI-C functions
- Lead problem solving initiatives on complex / distributed functions, establish and present alternative technical solutions
Your profile
- This position usually requires a university degree in E/E, Mechatronics, Computer Science or equivalent
- Expert in the area of function integration
- Development of distributed functions and systems, preferably in the area of infotainment and connectivity
- Profound experience in model-based system development and requirement analysis / -management (UML / SysML, RE / RM, VSEM / Doors, Jira, ...), Rhapsody/MagicDraw/EA), Vector toolchain (CANoe), etc.
- High degree of presentation skills
