Your responsibilities
- Software development of embedded electronics for devices in close collaboration with hardware developers and mechanical designers
- Design of software-requirements, -architecture and -code for new products, development of new software-modules
- Evaluation of system test results
- Documentation of development results
- Responsibility for the embedded software from development start to high volume series production
- Product development within multi-functional teams
Your profile
- A degree in IT or a comparable qualification
- Experience in embedded software design, programming language embedded C and real time operating systems
- Experience in developing modular software architectures for embedded systems
- Knowledge in electronic hardware and application of micro-controller peripherals
- Embedded hardware, especially 32bit MCUs (ARM M-platform)
- Knowledge of software project management including tools and methods
- Basic experiences in analog electronics, mechanical functions and drive systems
- Strong communication skills to ensure a proactively communicating progress to management and project leaders / teams
- Experience in the FMEA-process and in agile development methods (like scrum)
- Fluency in written and spoken English, knowledge of German an advantage
