My duties
  • The role is split into three key areas; Corporate and internal communications, Electrification ecosystem communications, Non-auto communications planning and coordination 
  • Develop and evolve crisis communications preparedness  
  • Design and deliver an engaging internal communications strategy
  • Create positioning, messaging and opportunities for Genesis executive exposure 
  • Develop and deliver thought leadership so Genesis is front-of-mind for media on luxury goods and services, automotive technology and electrification 
  • Create communication toolkits to ensure a one-voice approach for corporate topics
  • Ensure PR assets are prepared and shared for Genesis corporate comms, including press releases, press kits, Q&As, briefings, speeches and infographics
  • Ensuring non-auto and lifestyle media know about Genesis products
  • Support and coordinate our boutique lifestyle agencies in each market to ensure a joined-up approach in storytelling 
  • Manage corporate asset distribution across the region, globally for wider news and upload and leverage data to the regional media center and media monitoring to fine tune and direct PR efforts, maximizing and continually improving impact
  • Work closely with the Genesis social media teams and agencies to ensure alignment
  • Develop pan-European and local luxury partnerships in conjunction with NSC’s and develop relationships with industry bodies, government organizations
My qualifications
  • Customer focused and obsessed with meeting their needs 
  • Challenge the wider communications team at every level
  • At least 3 years’ experience of PR and/or journalism/communications
  • Experience from in-house or agency PR environment
  • Understanding of automotive and tech media
  • A healthy contact book is a bonus
  • Firm understanding of the non-auto and lifestyle media environment
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Strong team spirit
  • Ability to write engaging copy in English and convert corporate messaging into simple language to communicate our luxury story
  • Other languages are an advantage
