My duties
  • Develop, enable and grow Managed Partners for Surface
  • Develop reseller partner recruitment plan
  • Develop partner business plans through joint planning to target new buyers and new influencers, along with sales target setting
  • Manage plan through to success and meet joint business goals, revenue, unit and accessories targets
  • Ensure partner readiness by developing a plan to build partner marketing, sales, integration and support capabilities
  • Support partners ability to engage every customer on Surface scenarios
  • Utilize field insight, data and case studies to support partners for Surface
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with managed partners to understand sales blockers and discuss plans to overcome them
My qualifications
  • Profound experience in Channel/Partner Marketing, Hardware (e.g., PC, data storage, networking) commercial sales or Marketing experience
  • Strong reseller partner experience
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • A positive and can-do attitude, flexible and very adaptive to a changing demands, requests and priorities
  • You are fluent in German and have a very good level of English

My assignment
    The Partner and Channel Marketing Manager (PCMM) is responsible for owning, planning and executing all marketing co-op and investments through partner. The Partner Channel Marketing Manager for Surface focuses on creating demand with and through partners, translating opportunities into closed revenue with our Surface sales teams. The role is accountable for developing to and thru-partner marketing campaigns. The PCMM builds high-quality engagement and readiness across segments by proactively working with our reseller Partners, ensuring strong Surface marketing plans and execution are in place which align to the Surface product and customer marketing priorities. The PCMM will also be accountable for the growth of the Partner Reseller Alliance for Surface partners. The role is measured by partner’s digital marketing readiness, marketing plan execution, co-op utilization rate, and the partner marketing opportunity pipeline generated/closed by partners to accelerate business results.
