My duties
  • Together with other very motivated and innovative colleagues, you are responsible for the integration of the different software elements in VME into an overall virtual ECU that is used for software tests and simulations
  • Interaction with the internal software developers, with contractors and with suppliers to insure that the integrated software is available in time and with the requested quality
  • Major stakeholder for the team developing the processes and tools and defining the integration pipeline for the virtualization of the development, you search optimizations and improvements for the integration and for the use of the virtual ECUs
  • Independent Implementation of the software integration and coordination of the necessary contractors fpr the integration
  • Advise and support for the software developer in generating software components suitable for integration or the virtual tester for the use of the virtual ECU or the simulations
  • Analyze the technical issues in the software, if needed you run some measurements or tests and verify and correct the different configurations, define and implement possible solutions or workarounds
My qualifications
  • Successful completed studies in the field of computer sciences, software development, mechatronics, electronics or a comparable course of studies
  • Solid knowledge about automotive embedded software, software generation, software build, ECUs and their virtualisation, car electronics, etc.
  • Good knowledge of chassis, powertrain and energy management functions in electrical cars
  • Analytical capabilities, endurance and perseverance regarding complex systems or issues
  • Confident handling of usual tools for software integration, build environment, virtualisation, debugging, software measurements, measurements and calibration at the test bench or in the car
  • Proactive, supportive, structured, solution-oriented and able to bring experience and methodological knowledge into this new organization
  • Fluent German and English language skills
