My duties
  • Take the lead in the architecture and design of embedded OS and middleware software for real-time, mixed/safety critical embedded systems, support customer's IoT/IIOT, edge computing, wireless, 5G, network product and solution
  • Define the overall embedded infrastructure software architecture and its components and draft the architecture design specifications
  • Plan the software technology and IP and collaboration strategy, lead the selection and adoption and participation of relevant industry standards and formulate a technology roadmap that builds the basis for a highly-competitive portfolio of products
  • Clarification of software requirements with customer and other relevant departments
  • Guide the entire prototyping and agile software life-cycle and make decisions about the realization of the designed key technical solutions, participate in team-work and provide guidance for the team to make the solutions a reality
  • Protect intellectual property and disseminate innovative research results in the community
My qualifications
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree with relevant experience, PhD with relevant experience in embedded software
  • In-deph technological understanding of embedded software (such as IoT/IIOT, edge computing, wireless, 5G, network product) and key technologies as well as genuine ideas for the development of new technologies and be willing to transform these ideas into reality
  • Experience with embedded OS (e.g. OSEK OS, Micro-Kernel, Linux, RTOS) and infrastructure software, such as HW and SW co-design, real time scheduling, embedded middleware adaptive runtime framework (e.g. Adaptive AutoSAR, DDS), AI framework/algorithm, embedded model-based design and model checking for embedded system, background can be all or part of them
  • Ability to work in a diversified team, possess cross-team and cross-domain leadership and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent experience with team leadership and collaboration
  • The willingness and ability to travel are required
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, German and Chinese knowledge is a plus
  • Must be eligible to work in the European Union to be considered for this position
