


- Define the software architecture, design, and implementation of the next-generation of cloud platforms and services
- Redefine the design, architecture, and implementation of existing cloud storage technologies in the advent of computational storage and emerging hardware
- Rapid prototyping of innovative features using cloud storage technologies (e.g., Amazon S3, HDFS), big data (e.g., HBase, Spark) and deep learning frameworks (e.g., Keras/Tensorflow, PyTorch), and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Openstack)
- Provide hands-on technological leadership and contribute to standardization activities for research and development of future ICT technologies
- Interact and shape cooperation with leading academic and industry partners
- Bachelor/Master university degreeor higher in computer science or other domain-related disciplines as well as founded hands-on experience
- Founded experience with one of the following cloud computing platforms: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google GCP, and OpenStack
- Deep technological understanding of cloud storage technologies like Amazon S3, Azure Storage, Google Cloud Storage, and distributed file systems HDFS and GFS
- Deep technological understanding of CAP theory, BASE theory, key-value stores, relational databases, NoSQL databases, graph databases, distributed machine learning frameworks, and distributed cluster-computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies microservices, serverless, and cloud-native
- Proficient in one of the following programming languages C, C++, Go, Java, or Python
- Familiar with mainstream server CPU architectures and memory/storage technologies
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Ability and willingness to solve challenging engineer problems and learn new domains
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team-work spirit, and independent working capability
