My duties
  • Responsible for the integration of the different software elements in VME into an overall software that can be used in the ECU on the test bench or in the car
  • Interaction with suppliers, with contractors and with the software developers to insure that the integrated software is available in time and with the requested quality
  • Be major stakeholder for the team developing the processes and tools and defining the integration pipeline
  • Build the release AUTOSAR software from configured items: Execute the software integration yourself and coordinate the necessary contractors for the integration
  • Take part in the integration testing from the first test board or test rack until the first operation in the car. If needed, you execute your own tests and measurements
  • Advise and support the software developer in generating software components suitable for integration
  • Analyze the technical issues in the software, you measure runtimes, memory consumption, or other resources and verify and correct the different configurations, define and implement possible solutions or workarounds
  • Collaboration with other agile teams and associated experts for the ASPICE & SAFe-compliant development of automotive software
My qualifications
  • Successful completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, information technology or a comparable course of studies
  • Experience in software development/testing for embedded systems in the context real-time embedded system (AUTOSAR and/or ARINC knowledge preferred)
  • Deep knowledge about automotive embedded software, software generation, software build, ECUs, car electronics, etc.
  • Good knowledge of chassis, powertrain and energy management functions in electrical cars
  • Analytical capabilities, endurance and perseverance regarding complex systems or issues
  • Confident handling of usual tools for software integration, build environment, debugging, software measurements, measurements and calibration at the test bench or in the car
  • Proactive, supportive, structured, solution-oriented and able to bring experience and methodological knowledge into this new organization
  • Fluent German and English language skills
