My duties
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of approximately 2-3 FICO process team members for their respective functional area in Europe and ensure that milestones are achieved
  • Approve business process scope, milestones, and the completion of phases at quality checkpoints
  • Review business process documentation (process flows, business process procedures, etc.) for quality and completeness
  • Accountable for the team’s deliverables for respective functional areas (Requirements, process flows, business process documents, functional specifications, etc.)
  • Work closely with the technical team to facilitate the completion of development objects in support of the business processes
  • Resolve or escalate issues
  • Develop and deliver presentations
  • Communicate progress and status on a regular basis
  • Identification of and engagement with the European business unit stakeholders
  • Assist in the review of training materials
  • Assist in driving the execution of testing, including identification of transactions and data to be tested, determining who to involve in testing, and managing test defect resolution
  • Support data conversion activities (strategy, data cleansing, validation, etc.)
  • Support deployment activities, including business ramp down and ramp up coordination with the business.
  • Provide first line of support during implementation stabilization period, including triage and assignment of tickets to relevant team members and IT.
  • Resolve business issues that impact the ability of the process team to deliver project goals and escalate issues as appropriate
My qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or systems
  • Professional work experience
  • Accounting background, particularly in U.S. GAAP, IFRS, or statutory reporting
  • Experience with system implementations and configurations experience preferred
  • Hands-on SAP experience preferred (S/4 HANA preferred)
  • Leadership experience
  • Knowledge of three or more business domain areas within FICO with strong business application knowledge (AP, AR, GL, intercompany, inventory, revenue, COPA, fixed assets, FP&A, tax, etc.)
  • Ability to work both in a management capacity, and in a detailed, hands-on system capacity
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task  
  • Ability to lead a team and help prioritize workload to meet all team deliverables
  • Influencing skills and the ability to present project details to senior management
  • Empowerment to make decisions on functional, process, or operational changes
  • Ability to raise relevant issues, drive for solution, and make decisions under time constraints
  • Experience with conducting presentations and training
  • Maintain ongoing communication with business partners as part of stakeholder engagement program
