Grid Engineer for a Japanese wind offshore project
As a power systems engineer, you will conduct studies for offshore wind farm projects
These studies are typically categorized into RMS and electromagnetic transients (EMT) and require knowledge of simulation tools such as PowerFactory and PSCAD
The studies include load flow, short circuit analysis, transient stability, fault ride-through (FRT), insulation coordination, harmonic analysis and harmonic stability, among others
The aim of these studies is to optimize system design, ensure compliance with grid connection regulations and develop operating guidelines for operation and maintenance

Implement and work with continuous improvement of the customer management system and local requirements for the operating unit of the Nordic cluster
Review customer HSE requirements and demonstrate how the main customer will manage HSE through the lifecycle of the project
Prepare and update HSE documentation in accordance with the internal process
Submit all preliminary HSE plans to the customer in accordance with the project submission deadlines
Attend clarification meetings and workshops with the customer on site level
Prepare the Project HSE Plan as well as other HSE-related documentation such as the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan
Ensure activities under the scope of the main customer are in compliance with legal and contractual HSE requirements as well as internal HSE requirements
Produce reports for Project Reviews, both internal and Customer, and attend the Project Review meetings to ensure the main customers HSE Operating System remains suitable, adequate, and effec-tive
Review HSE documentation from all main customers subcontractors and support subcontractors to meet internal and Project HSE requirements
Maintain awareness of developments and legislation that impact assigned functions
