Responsibilities

  • Preparation and operation of the Noise & Vibration chassis dynamometer and other test facilities for acoustic testing
  • Preparation of vehicles for acoustic measurements: Applying accelerometers and microphones, setting up the measurement chain and optional setting up the measurement system including calibration
  • Organization of regular maintenance of the acoustic test benches and the associated measurement technology
  • Modifications to vehicles in close coordination with the workshop
  • Documentation (e.g. measuring chain, maintenance logs) in English
  • Close cooperation with other departments and workshops

Profile

  • Qualified vocational training in vehicle mechatronics, preferably with further training as a technician
  • Alternatively, bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally with completed vocational apprenticeship
  • Qualified for working on high-voltage vehicles (DGUV level 2E or higher)
  • Experience in NVH Testing and working with measurement equipment (e.g. microphones, accelerometers, frontends)
  • Proficient in reporting and handling of Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel
  • Creative mindset with pro-active and self-motivated attitude
  • Good command of English language, intercultural & communication skills
  • Valid European driving license B
