Excellent analytical skills are one of the basic requirements for a job in work preparation. You should also have completed a technical education. In many companies, attendance at a technical college or university is required.

Also required are:

  • Very good computer skills, especially in MS Office, CAD, ERP and SAP, other industry-specific software skills.
  • Pronounced interest in process engineering tasks.
  • Possibly REFA certificate
  • Knowledge of English when working in internationally operating companies
  • Initiative, ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and assertiveness

The average salary of a work preparer in Germany is 60,421 euros per year.

 The salary of a work preparer (m/f/d) depends on various factors. These include the industry, the size of the company, the location and professional experience. The starting salary is 43,000 euros per year. The average salary is around 50,000 euros, with top salaries at 56,000 euros. The highest salaries are paid in Frankfurt/Main and Munich.
