RF & Network Systems Specialist (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Selection, configuration, and testing of radio devices, RF components, and networked wireless systems
- Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of radio links, including performing RF measurements and safely operating high-frequency measurement equipment
- Analysis of radio scenarios and selection of suitable antennas, radiators, and amplifiers
- Contribution to the conceptual design of new wireless solutions and support in system architecture
- Troubleshooting and optimization of existing RF and network components
- Support in the networking area (Cisco environment, routing/switching, basic configurations)
- Creation of operating and installation manuals for internal teams and production
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or vocational training (EFZ) with relevant professional experience
- At least 2 years of experience in radio systems, radio frequency (RF), mobile communication networks, and high-frequency measurement equipment (4G/5G a plus)
- Good knowledge of network engineering, ideally with certifications such as Cisco CCNA or CCNP (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to understand and apply technical manuals independently
- English proficiency (minimum C1), German skills (minimum A2)
- High motivation and strong interest in radio and network technologies within the defence sector
