MES Support Engineer - Manufacturing Software (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time support for MES and factory software systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-critical issues to minimize downtime
- Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions
- Support system integrations between MES, ERP, and shopfloor equipment
- Develop automation tools and monitoring solutions (e.g., SQL, Python)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and IT
- Document solutions and support continuous improvement initiatives
Profile
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Experience with MES or manufacturing systems
- Strong SQL skills; programming experience (Python or similar is a plus)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, production-driven environment
