Senior Project Director Cyber Security (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- Lead the CRA Strategic Initiative from a Project Director perspective in accordance with Hitachi Energy’s governance model
- Support the current Project Manager to ensure seamless handover and future management of the project
- Represent the initiative at the Steering Committee and provide leadership to Workstream Groups including leads and subject matter experts
- Oversee the Delivery Lead to maintain and update the project plan in MS Project, monitor task completion, critical path, and weekly progress reporting
- Identify, manage, and escalate risks, dependencies, and issues across the initiative
- Assign responsibilities, manage workloads, and ensure timely follow-ups with internal teams
- Facilitate strong coordination among technical, product, cybersecurity, compliance, legal, and operations teams
- Prepare and present regular status reports to executive stakeholders / Serve as primary liaison or establish a delegation model for initiative communications
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, conflict resolution, and effective decision-making / Build and maintain working understanding of CRA requirements and regulatory updates
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including unified master project plan, risk register, issue register, workload allocation, and governance proceedings
- Optionally propose additional project support resources if justified and approved
Profile
- Professional experience in Management and Director roles
- Profound knowledge in program leadership and project management within complex cross-functional initiatives
- Relevant, in-depth experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams including technical, compliance, and legal stakeholders
- Proven expertise in risk and issue management under established cybersecurity risk governance
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively represent initiatives at executive levels
- Proficiency in MS Project or equivalent project management tools
- Fluency in English at native speaker level; fluent German is an advantage
- Ability to quickly build working knowledge of evolving regulatory requirements
- Willingness to relocate to the region or work remotely as suitable
