Responsibilities

  • Independent design of control and protection systems for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission systems
  • Implementation of control software in MATLAB/SIMULINK and verification using simulation tools and real-time test environments
  • Preparation of related design specifications, documentation, and effort estimations
  • Clarification of technical requirements within project teams as well as with customers and suppliers
  • Remote support during commissioning and in service cases

Profile


  • Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power engineering or control engineering, along with relevant professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of converter and high-voltage technology, as well as plant, control, and automation engineering
  • Solid MATLAB/SIMULINK skills, including model-based implementation and verification
  • Experience in engineering automation systems, preferably SIMATIC TDC / S7
  • Very good command of English
  • German language skills desirable
