Your Entry Opportunities:

There are several ways to start your career in recruiting at Hays:

You can join as a Recruiting Specialist (also known as an HR Specialist with a focus on recruiting) as part of our Sales Teams, or work in Active Sourcing within our central recruiting unit – the Delivery Center.

In both roles, you’ll be responsible for successfully filling open positions at our client companies with qualified professionals and executives – making a significant contribution to the success of our services. As an Active Sourcing Specialist, you’ll also operate in an international environment, engaging with both clients and talents across borders.

What You Can Expect:

In close collaboration with our (Key) Account Managers, you’ll manage the entire recruiting process – from initial research and active outreach to contract signing. You’ll ensure an efficient process and a positive candidate experience.

After an internal team briefing on the client’s requirements and desired skills, you’ll search for suitable experts in our internal Hays talent pool as well as on social networks and job platforms. By screening profiles and conducting phone or in-person interviews, you’ll ensure the right match and qualifications, making a well-informed pre-selection based on the role’s requirements.

You’ll also negotiate salaries or hourly rates with candidates and prepare their CVs for presentation to the client. Throughout the process, you’ll stay in close contact with candidates, keeping them informed, moving things forward, and building commitment – especially when processes take longer. Once the contract is signed, you’ll hand over the case to your colleagues in personnel support in a structured manner.
