Your responsibilities
- Proactively drive consolidation, standardization and harmonization of the Design & Engineering application portfolio (where necessary) by advising Design and Engineering stakeholders of associated strategic changes.
- Keep abreast of all operational projects
- Negotiate demand prioritization with design & engineering partner in case of conflicting demands. Make engineering demand portfolio transparent to the IT organization, relevant stakeholders, formulate recommendations for prioritization and escalate conflicts,
- Support the engineering global process owner(s) to manage all Design & Engineering related processes (M2C, I2C, P2P...)
- Prepare the engineering related deliverables to support decision meetings/ boards
- Support the whole Demand Management team to improve the demand management approach and make significant adjustments (if required)
- Develop appropriate reporting with reference to the Engineering Demand Portfolio.
Your profile
- Preferred solid experience working within the Engineering/Design function
- Relevant experience as a Demand Manager in an international and fast changing, change driven environments, involving experience in dealing with senior levels
- University degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, (e.g., Bachelor) or equivalent.
- This role requires a very good knowledge of design and engineering workflows, including knowledge of applications within an EPC [Engineering, Procurement and Construction] context.
- Desired – Project Management Experience (general)
- Solid engineering process knowledge (typically in relation to EPC [Engineering, Procurement and Construction] / AEC [Architectural Engineering and Construction] companies)
- Ability to translate engineering requirements into IT specification ensuring successful execution of IT projects.
- Proficient skills in English
- Desirable - German skills
- Working knowledge of Demand Management
- Experience in implementation and governance of Engineering applications
- Understanding of ITIL processes
- Industry Trends / technology overview of EPC AEC technology
- Experience with Autodesk products is an advantage
