Software Lead Engineer (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities
- Creation and implementation of software requirements, concepts, architecture, design
- Embedded software development, including verification and documentation
- Be innovative in bringing value to embedded software by identifying re-usable and configurable software components, libraries functions, etc. while eliminating redundancy
- Ensure adherence to software development process models e.g. Automotive SPICE
- Coordinate with system leaders to ensure compliance with safety standards of ISO26262 and cyber security requirements
- Support embedded software architecture analysis, Software FTA, DFMEA and peer reviews
- Support on the organization, administration and communication of the software development team
- Actively interact with other engineers to assure operative exchange on business relevant activities
- Support on the collection and delivery of software development related project metrics and activities to key stakeholders
- Contribute to the development, implementation and improvement of development processes
- Strong collaboration with the global engineering organization
Your profile
- Bachelor degree or above in a relevant specialization like Informatics, Automation, Computer Sciences, Electronics Engineering or similar
- Professional experience in the field of electronics development
- Professional experience in the automotive environment in the area of software development, ideally as SW architect and integrator
- Very good knowledge and experience in programming in C/C++, model based SW engineering in Matlab/Simulink, Rhapsody, including auto-coding
- Good knowledge on AUTOSAR, including architecture and design
- Good knowledge of relevant tools and tool chains (e.g. Debugger iSystem, WinIdea, Mathworks Tools, Vector Tools)
- Knowledge in Automotive SPICE
- Knowledge in CI/CD
- Knowledge in the area of functional safety (ISO26262) is desirable
- Excellent team spirit and flexibility
- Good communication abilities, well organized person, attentive to details and proactive attitude
- Fluent in English (verbal & written)
