Your responsibilities
- Development of new concepts and transfer into specific projects
- Technical and commercial project management, including the preparation of specifications and requests for quotations for major components and services
- Project management across all phases of the project from conception and project execution to commissioning and acceptance
- Technical review of offers and order confirmations
- Commercial project handling with regard to cost determination, project calculation and reporting
- Ongoing project control and responsibility for adherence to costs, timelines and work safety
- Establishment and management of interdisciplinary teams (internal and external) incl. coordination of interfaces to other departments, 3rd party engineering and contractors
- Review of supplier documentation and preparation of project documentation
- Independent development of optimisation potentials and implementation of improvement projects, e.g. with regard to operational efficiency, quality, EHS (environment, health, safety)
- Supporting other departments such as Operations, EHS, Quality
- Establishment and active support of networks for the exchange of know-how within and outside the company
- Participation in plant on-call duty (Werksrufbereitschaft
- Potentially support of projects elsewhere within our business which would require travel within Europe
Your profile
- Master of Science or similar degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar demonstrative experience
- Experience in project management and process engineering, ideally also in production and maintenance environment
- Quick comprehension and good technical understanding
- MS Office, MS Project, SAP
- English, German fluent spoken and written (B2)
