Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for local procurement system(s), including monitoring and resolving any issues related to integrating procurement processes and associated system(s) with other functional areas and ensuring all facets meet/exceed regulatory requirements
  • Provide first-level support for all (Power-) Users working with Procurement processes Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues
  • This may involve working closely with the IT support team or SAP consultants to identify and address problems
  • Train and support the Power Users working within the procurement process environment. This includes conducting training sessions, creating user manuals or documentation, and providing ongoing support to ensure smooth operations
  • Build and maintain relationships with (Power-) Users
  • Engage with the user to understand their needs and concerns and effectively communicate the organization’s messages
  • Manage creating, modifying, and deleting master data records following defined business rules and data governance policies. This involves collaborating with cross- functional teams and ensuring data inputs are accurate and up to date

Your profile

  • Bachelors degree in business informatics, IT or business administration 
  • Excellent understanding and experience in regards to the Procurement processes in general and SAP processes specific 
  • Proficient experience in procurement-related Systems (SAP MM, GEP SMART, SAP Ariba, etc.)
  • Experience in working with OpenText VIM for SAP recommended as well as with the Google Workspace is recommended 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience of working with global cross- functional teams 
  • Fluent in German and high proficiency in English Personal initiative and a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working as well as the ability to keep a cool head in stressful situations and a high level of professional consulting skills
