About the company
- On behalf of the Ministry of Education of Saxony-Anhalt, we are looking for motivated and ambitious applicants for the subjects of mathematics, English or German for secondary schools in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, e.g. in Magdeburg, Halle (Saale) or Stendal.
- We are looking for teachers who are not currently employed by a federal state under public law, as well as lateral entrants who would like to pass on their expertise to children, teenagers and young adults.
- A teacher’s qualification is not required.
Your responsibilities
- Planning, giving and following up on lessons in subjects such as mathematics, English or German
- Preparing a curriculum in cooperation and with the support of other teachers and the school administration
- Documenting and preparing the students’ teaching progress
- Correcting and grading of students’ oral and written work
- Pedagogical support for the students in their daily learning routine
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies at a university, university of applied sciences or equivalent institution of higher education with a diploma, master's degree, bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in subjects with focus on engineering, mathematics, computer science or a natural sciences subject (teacher’s qualification not mandatory)
- Very good German skills (at least C1 level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference)
- A sense of responsibility and interest in pedagogical work with children, teenagers and young adults
