Facility managers have a broad range of different tasks, including the coordination of caretakers, material management and EDP. They plan the optimal management and infrastructure of one or more buildings and monitor the operation of systems, such as heating or energy supply systems.

On average, facility managers have an annual starting salary of EUR 25,000. With a bachelor’s degree, they have a starting salary of EUR 30,000 or higher. With increasing experience or a leading position, the salary rises accordingly.
