Your responsibilities

  • Your task as an experienced data engineer in the Devops environment includes, among other things, big data technologies and data warehousing
  • You will also oversee the provision and management of data pipelines in AWS and take care of data security and data governance in an agile environment

Your profile

  • Data Engineer with experience
  • Big Data Technologies: Strong knowledge of distributed computing and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL databases, and data streaming technologies
  • Data Warehousing: Experience in designing and implementing large-scale data warehousing solutions, including ETL processes, data modeling, and database administration (Hive, Impala, Apache Iceberg, Apache Nifi, Apache oozie) 
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Pyspark, Bash scripting, SQL for data analysis, manipulation, and transformation
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience in deploying and managing data pipelines in AWS
  • Devops: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Continuous Development (CD) and Continuous Integration (CI) techniques using tools like Git and GitLab
  • Data Security: Understanding of data security and privacy regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA and experience in implementing security measures to protect data
  • Data Governance: Knowledge of data governance best practices, including data quality assurance, metadata management, and data lineage
  • Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams, communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and provide guidance to junior team members
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience in agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence for project management and documentations
  • [Nice to have] Data Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, R-Shiny, Power-BI for creating interactive dashboards and report
