Your responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and simulating data and providing improvements to the process. This process pertains to conceptual engineering studies of hydrofaction plants. You will become part of the process engineering team and work out of the Vedbæk office. Some of your main responsibilities will be:
  • Conceptual, basic & detailed engineering studies 
  • Design & development of process related technical documentation
  • Process simulations and heat & material balances
  • Heat integration and optimization
  • Modelling, sizing and specification of subsystems and equipment.
  • Design & development of process related technical documentation e.g., block diagrams, PFD's, P&ID's
  • Functional description of equipment & systems including verbal control philosophy
  • Equipment calculations (sizing), equipment specification (datasheets) and documentation
  • Utility specification
  • Participation in Hazids/Hazops.
  • Participation in the development and maintenance of basic engineering packages as input/deliverable to engineering companies.
  • After sufficient training the position may include mentoring and coaching of new employees
  • Participation in the development and maintenance of the Design Manual for internal use & Basic Engineering Package (External)
  • Project- & business development support, e.g., participation in technical due diligence and development of project proposals.

Your profile

  • 10+ years experience within the chemical, process engineering field 
  • Master’s or PhD in Chemical, Process, or Petroleum engineering
  • Work experience in laboratory scale and/or pilot plants operation 
  • Experience from the refinery industry is an advantage
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, results-oriented, and flexible individual
  • Be able to scope and drive task independently
  • Ability to develop creative solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required
  • Be a strong team player
