After completing my studies in business administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg, I began his career with a region engineering services firm in Nuremberg. There I followed a traditional recruitment services path, going from account manager to key account manager to team leader.

I then joined OSB AG as a sales manager before joining Hays in October 2011 as a department manager. Initially assuming responsibility for temporary positions in Engineering in Munich, I were made head of the Munich temporary Engineering unit in January 2012 and as of February 2013, I have been responsible for both of these sites in Munich.

Since July 2013, I have been responsible for temporary positions in Construction & Property throughout Germany, which has offices in the cities of Munich, Mannheim, Dusseldorf and Berlin.

After successfully completing an apprenticeship as a qualified banker and a degree in business information systems, I began my professional career as a Key Account Manager with Hays in the autumn of 2006. In May 2004, I joined Hays as an Account Manager IT Contracting & Engineering in Munich. Four years later, as a branch manager, I established the new Hays offices in Nuremberg.

After completing training as an aircraft mechanic, I served as a master aircraft mechanic with the German military. Having completed my studies as a certified mechanical engineering technician as well as additional studies in technical business administration with an emphasis on human resources management (including several years experience in sales), I began my career at Hays as an Engineering Account Manager in 2011.

I began my professional career at a specialist IT network infrastructure company in Bavaria. I then subsequently moved into T-commerce, where I gained my initial insights into working in management.

In 2007, I joined Hays in Munich and was involved in developing the company's IT operations before being sent to Vienna to help drive forward our Permanent business in Austria.

After successfully completing this project, I returned to Germany and now work in our Hays offices in Hamburg. From here, I am in charge of all our activities across Germany for recruiting and placing IT experts in permanent roles with our customers.

I completed by BA and MA studies in History with honours at Hamburg University. I then went on to pursue my doctorate, submitting and defending my PhD dissertation in 2015.

While working on my doctorate, I also worked in various research and teaching capacities. This included a project on the perception of non-Christian religions from the European perspective funded by the European Research Council at Hamburg University. I also worked as a lecturer at the Free University of Berlin and the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel. During my studies I also carried out research at the German Historical Institute in Paris.

In my current capacity at Hays, I provide advice and support to various companies, banks and organisations in and around Cologne and Hamburg. After completing a 12-year stint in the German armed forces, I studied commercial law at the Westphalian Technical College. While engaged with a large energy provider in the Rhineland, I wrote my dissertation on the Atomic Energy Act, which served as the basis for a parliamentary bill. In 2009, I began a very successful career with Hays in the area of Construction & Property, building on this success with Hays Legal in 2012.

After completing a commercial apprenticeship, I founded a digital photography agency in 2003 and was responsible for the sales and digitisation side of the business.

In 2009, I joined Hays AG as an Account Manager. Since joining the company, I have been responsible for supporting our customers in Northern Germany in recruiting IT specialists.
In addition to the traditional recruitment of freelancers, I am also actively assisting in introducing and implementing a managed service provision package at a large German insurance company.

Since 2004, I have been in several key roles within the Group and significantly contributed to the record growth in IT and Engineering Contracting in Germany between 2004 and 2010.

In 2010, I launched the Life Sciences and Construction & Property Temp businesses in Germany. After successfully expanding these areas to four sites, I moved to our US subsidiary in 2013 to head up the Contracting business in the US from our New York office. In the US I launched IT Contracting and took over the management of the Life Sciences contracting business, while introducing new business processes for contracting in our North American region.

I studied construction engineering at the Kiel University of Applied Sciences and minored in sales management and human resources development at the Wolfenbüttel University of Applied Sciences and the Kaiserslautern University of Technology. After founding an engineering office for Information & Documentation, I have been involved in engineering services in various capacities since 2003, including as a regional manager at FERCHAU Engineering and as a managing director in corporate-level engineering at the 7S Group.

Since June 2015, as Managing Director of Hays Technology Solutions GmbH, I have been responsible for the statement of work side of our project business sector throughout Germany for Hays Engineering.

After completing an apprenticeship as a qualified banker and receiving my degree in international culture and business studies from the University of Passau, I began my career with Hays Permanent in Munich in 2006. Most recently, I have been responsible for placing IT professionals in permanent positions and have also served as our branch manager in Munich.

I am currently responsible for our IT project business throughout Germany for statements of work.

Marcel Suchy

After completing my studies in Business Administration in Germany and the US, I joined Hays as an Account Manager in early 2007. Working closely with other colleagues, I helped establish the Hays office in Stuttgart, which serves leading, worldwide companies based in Baden-Württemberg.

At the end of 2010, I moved over to Hays Managed Service Provision as a consultant. In this capacity, I was responsible for advising numerous companies on their recruitment needs, bringing more businesses on board and taking charge of the implementation of our Managed Service Provision programme.

Since 2015, I have been Head of Strategic Relationship Management within Hays Talent Solutions. In this role, I assist companies in making the right decisions regarding their own individual implementation of our MSP programme or in designing their own bespoke recruitment process outsourcing needs.
