About the company

  • Our client is an international, renowned developper and manufacturer of pharmaceutical products with the financial HQ and office located in central Vienna.

Your responsibilities

  • Support for Head of Internal Controls & SOX:- Participate in annual scoping and control reviews, providing information and expertise. - Assist in creating narratives and flowcharts, storing and archiving them in the SOX application.
  • Implementation and Documentation of Internal Controls:- Responsible for implementing, documenting, and supporting the execution of internal controls in a SOX environment.- Keep the SOX application up to date with the latest designs.
  • Support for Control Owners:- Guide control owners on proper documentation of control evidence in the SOX application.- Assist in preparing requested control documentation.
  • Reporting and Training:- Provide adequate and timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies in the SOX application.- Conduct training sessions for business partners on internal control objectives, approach, and methodology.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, economics or finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position within a multinational company or via a Big 4 audit firm.
  • Willingness to contribute to building the department and rapidly evolve in a new role.
  • Strong interest in leveraging technology and systems for internal control effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Solid understanding and experience with internal control frameworks (SOX experience is an advantage)
  • Excellent proficiency in English (both spoken and written).

Salary information

  • The annual gross salary starts from 50.000 Euro dependant on previous experience and education.
