Front End Engineer (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities
- The customer creates the base building blocks for next generation infotainment systems, build system and user-facing applications and integrates those components into the car infotainment systems. Infotainment systems are like mobile phones, that employ various applications coming from 1st, 2nd and 3rd parties. To facilitate these in an infotainment system, an app framework needs to be given that allows the customer to choose the apps of interest
- While the app framework will allow to deploy and execute the customers desired content, an application developer kit (ADK) needs to be present to allow individuals to produce customer content
- Your role will be to produce and improve an application developer kit for content creators and engineers to facilitate 1st, 2nd and 3rd parties
Your profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology or a comparable qualification
- Excellent coding skills in C++ 14/17 and basic knowledge in Python
- Experience with Linux and Yocto
- Experience with GIT version control and Docker, CI/CD
- Experience with Yocto and/or Buildroot and virtualization solutions such as Docker and QEMU
- Experience with in-vehicle infotainment systems
- Knowledge of and experience with an (UI) app life-cycle
- Knowledge in relevant app framework topics, e. g. Qt
- Well-developed communication skills in English
- Teamwork ability
