Product Owner (m/w/d)
Ihre Aufgaben
- Collaborate with BI Analysts, BI Engineers, Data Engineers, and Solution Architects to understand business needs and define requirements for data use cases, reports, and analytics
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and facilitate effective communication between the development team and business users
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that data use cases and requirements are properly captured and documented
- Lead the planning and execution of data projects, including defining project scope, timelines, and resource allocation
- Work closely with Solution Architects and Data Engineers to design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines and data models that support the desired analytics and reporting functionalities
- Collaborate with BI Analysts and BI Engineers to develop meaningful and actionable reports, dashboards, and visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and accuracy of data products, working closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and address any issues or concerns
- Monitor and analyze data usage patterns and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data management, analytics, and reporting to drive continuous improvement of the data platform and products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists and Business Analysts, to ensure that data products align with broader business goals and strategies
Ihr Profil
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree
- Proven experience as a Data Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, working with data analytics, reporting, and data platform development
- Strong understanding of data engineering, BI, and data analytics concepts, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Solid knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, data governance, and data quality best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Experience with data visualization tools and technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data-related services
