Software Test Engineer Automotive (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for designing, implementing, executing, and managing software tests and test environments
- You assist with system reviews and ensure that software requirements are taken into account in conjunction with the project team
- Coordinating all software test stages, in collaboration with the quality assurance and testing department, is also part of your role
- You are responsible for producing test specifications, test reports, and bug reports
- You ensure that the software quality strategy is being followed and continuously developed
Your profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
- You have well-founded experience in developing and integrating software tests in Vector HIL environments
- You are experienced in software development and using various coding languages, including C, Perl, and Python, CanOe
- You have excellent knowledge of digital circuitry and control loops
- Your work style is structured and precise, and you have an analytical approach and are organized
- You communicate fluently in English (spoken and written) and have good knowledge of German
