System Application Engineer (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities
- Simulate converters and control loops using PSpice, Matlab/Simulink or similar tools
- You define system architectures and functional partitioning and develop the associated cross-system functions and technologies such as control algorithms, cooling concepts and manufacturing concepts
- Simulate converters and control loops using PSpice, Matlab/Simulink or similar tools
- Perform loss calculations of switching devices as well as their continuous further development
- Define test requirements
- As a contact person for customers in all technical matters, you are responsible for the cross-team communication of customer requirements
- Lead project teams in all technical matters from concept to series production
- Responsible for the continuous monitoring of the project status as well as for the identification of technical risks
Your profile
- You have successfully completed your studies in the field of electrical engineering or physics (university degree or technical college degree)
- Proven experience in the development of power converters (DC/DC, PFC) for series in the automotive sector
- Experienced in the calculation and simulation of control loops
- Ideally, you have already gained experience in working with Altium Designer and PADS
- Your working method is structured, organized and analytical
- Strong interpersonal skills, enjoy working in a team and are creative
- Very good English skills (written and spoken), German skills are an advantage
