Your responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and guide a team of up to 10 FPGA engineers, overseeing design, implementation and verification
- Design and Integration: Collaborate closely with DSP and product teams to integrate DSP algorithms into FPGA designs
- Validation and Testing: Verify functionality and validate designs in the device context using external stimulation and test scripting
- Technical Expertise: Actively support the team with both management and technical expertise
- Mentoring: Assist junior colleagues in skill development and provide guidance to experienced team members
- Collaboration: Work within a creative and experienced team to achieve project goals
- Quality and Timeliness: Ensure high-quality, timely deliverables aligned with performance, maintainability and scalability goals
- Communication: Engage with other team leaders and contribute to resource planning and hiring efforts
Your profile
- Enthusiasm for high-speed data and signal processing technologies
- Proven experience in digital designs on FPGAs within an industrial context
- Leadership experience (leading a team or project) or technical responsibility for development projects
- Expertise in at least one hardware definition language (VHDL or Verilog)
- Strong knowledge of up-to-date FPGA technologies (Xilinx or others) and familiarity with HW/SW Co-Design
- Practical understanding of complex algorithms in digital signal processing (e.g., FEC decoders, digital filters) would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German proficiency is beneficial)

Salary information
- The attractive remuneration varies depending on the level of experience and qualifications and ranges between €100,000-110,000 gross/year.
