Your responsibilities

As a Tender Specialist you will be a part of an international team, with offices in Sweden, Finland and Denmark. In this interesting role, you will translate customer needs and challenges into a competitive offer from Hitachi Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Services. In close co-operation with customers and other Hitachi teams, you will take actions to identify new business opportunities. The tenders pertain to green energy projects such as solar and PtX. You can be based in either the Skovlunde or Middelfart office. Some of your main responsibilities will be:
  • Understanding customer processes and values 
  • Being responsible for and attending meetings with customers and proposing suitable solutions as well as contracts in accordance with company’s strategy and tendering policies.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships and your knowledge of customer needs.
  • Finding the right solutions on time at the right price and be responsible for both new sales and offering upgrading to modern technology.
  • Using tender processes and tools for proposal administration and offers as well as Risk Review guidelines.
  • Following up on sales orders by cooperation with the project management team. 
  • Living the core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your profile

  • 3+ years of experience within tendering processes
  • Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Detailed knowledge of grid connection technology is a plus
  • Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships 
  • Experience with tendering processes, preferably in a similar position
  • Experience with FIDIC contracts or similar
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both written and verbal is required
  • Either a commercial or electrical/power engineering background paired with EPC tender experience
