Your responsibilities
- You will work as a Postdoc (m/f/d) within Roche Pharma Research, developing digital twins for protein purification processes
- Your key responsibilities comprise the investigation of colloidal models for ion exchange and multimodal chromatography resins
- It is expected from you to closely interact with scientists from other functions and external partners
- You supervise students supporting your project
- Presentation of data internally and externally as well as literature search is part of your regular tasks
- The publication of results also belongs to your tasks and will be strongly supported
Your profile
- You have a PhD degree in the field of biotechnology, process technology or mathematics with profound research experience
- You have a strong background in mechanistic modeling of protein purification processes and experiences in related software packages (Gosilico, CADET or similar)
- You are a goal-oriented personality, willing to establish new workflows for the bioprocess development of the future
- You are eager to perform wet-lab experiments and build your own network
- Furthermore you are well known for your strong team spirit and your willingness to work in International teams
- Collaboration is an integral part of your personality
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken) / German skills not necessarily required
