- EDT-Europe is a subsidiary of Emerging Display Technologies Corp. Ltd (EDT). Since its establishment in 2000, EDT has supported customers and distributors across Europe from its office in Farum, Denmark, and in January 2020, we opened a new branch office near Frankfurt, Germany.The parent company Emerging Display Technologies Corp. Ltd (EDT) was founded in 1994 by two Taiwanese students specializing in LCD displays and has since developed into a global partner with headquarters and factory in Taiwan. As a manufacturer of LCD panels and display modules, EDT has since grown into a global publicly listed company in Taiwan with sales offices across the globe and around 1200 employees worldwide.
Your responsibilities
- Providing technical support and solve technical problems
- Communicating technical topics and translating customer requirements into workable solutions.
- Attend fairs and events representing EDT-Europe towards costumers and partners.
- Making technical presentations and training sessions for the sales network.
- Reviewing and verifying electronic schematics and PCB layout files.
- Creating 2D/CAD drawing for suppliers.
- Building hands-on demo boxes and preparations for exhibitions and sales conferences.
- Occasionally performing EMI/EMC tests or various tests on products to verify their performance.
Your profile
- Technical understanding of electronic hardware or an IT or mechanics’ background.
- Experience with soldering, crimping, electronical assembly etc.
- Solid understanding of embedded software architecture (C/C++).
- Fluent in English and has strong communication skills.
- 3-10 years of experience within displays, HMI, and embedded products.
- You thrive in a workday where urgent tasks may land on your desk from time to time.
- You are eager to continuously develop electronic products and processes.
- Experience with knowledge of production processes, project management and understanding of technical solutions is a plus.
- You are an outgoing and proactive employee who likes to be involved in decision making.
- You are eager to learn and are not afraid to take responsibility.
