Your responsibilities
- Perform and develop protein analytical methods, with a primary focus on High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
- Utilize additional analytical techniques such as spectroscopic methods and capillary electrophoresis to analyze and characterize protein samples
- Interpret and report data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytical method development and suitability assessment
- Participate in troubleshooting and maintenance of analytical equipment
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of automated processes
- Maintain detailed documentation of all experimental work in electronic laboratory notebooks (ELN) and other IT systems
Your profile
- Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific field. (no Phd.)
- Experience in protein analytics, particularly HPLC
- Familiarity with spectroscopic methods and capillary electrophoresis
- Basic IT knowledge, including proficiency in G-Suite, ELN, and Chromeleon
- A strong interest in robotic/automated processes and IT systems is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders
- Knowledge of German is nice to have
- The activity is purely a laboratory activity
