Your responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of merge requests and integration processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
- Work closely with DevOps teams to implement best practices for a build system that enhance integration efficiency
- Create & combine (staged) merge requests to create packages for system verification testing
- Merge and integrate staged merge requests into mainline and release branches
- Sync with PMs and staging/verification teamwork on build system
- Support bugs analysis that occur during test sessions
- Join business meetings and test sessions
- Review Merge Requests
Your profile
- Hands-on experience as an Integration Engineer in the automotive domain with a strong focus on embedded systems
- Extensive experience with integration branching strategies, demonstrating the ability to decide on the most suitable strategy based on project needs
- In-depth understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the ability to validate and align integration processes with different phases of the SDLC, ensuring consistency and effectiveness
- Proven track record of working on and successfully meeting Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) assessments
- Proficient in Jenkins not just as a user, but also capable of contributing to and enhancing the build infrastructure
- Proficient in Git/GitLab, adept at managing complex branching, resolving merge conflicts, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and utilizing advanced Git features
- Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins, including pipeline configuration, job orchestration, and continuous integration workflow management
- Automation / scripting (Python/Bash) Understanding of high-level software architectures
- Conduct code reviews
- Driving License B
