Your responsibilities
- In silico design of genetic elements and barcoded libraries using software tools
- Develop, maintain and optimize DNA cloning technologies with focus on high content DNA libraries
- Develop, maintain and optimize NGS library preparations and coordination of NGS runs with internal and external partner
- Presentation and discussion of achieved results in department meetings
- Documentation of results
- Support of temporary workers / interns / apprentices
Your profile
- Scientific studies (Master of Science level or PhD level) alternatively, the position can be staffed with an incumbent with a scientific Master degree or PhD with relevant professional experience in AAV vectors and Gene Therapy several years of experience in DNA design, cloning and sequencing required
- Good IT-Skills (MS Office, department-specific applications, Phyton or R)
- Verry good English skills (write/read and speak)
- German Skills are nice to have
